North Georgia Christian Camp offers a variety of retreats and events in the Spring and Fall that target each age group. Retreats are short, intensive weekends that offer campers a chance to grow in their relationship with God through fellowship, small groups, and worship. With the stress and challenges of a new school year, our Fall retreats for middle- and high-schoolers are a great way to reconnect with God in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia. Make plans to attend a retreat this year with your church or youth group!

Deeper Life Thrive & Identity Retreats
Deeper Life Identity and Deeper Life Thrive are our fall weekend retreats for middle and high-schoolers. Friday evening through Sunday morning, these retreats are an awesome opportunity to get away from the business of school, the distractions of everyday life, and to be able to catch up with camp friends (and make new ones!). Anyone and everyone is invited to these retreats, whether you decide to come with a church group, with a couple of friends, or as an individual! Come experience a understanding of who God is and who He made you to be at the Deeper Life retreats. More information will be coming soon, and if your church or group is new to NGCC and would like to learn more about Deeper Life, please e-mail us at email@example.com!
North Georgia Christian Camp has been hosting Saints Alive for decades, and we are excited as always for our Saints Alive luncheon this year on May 3rd! Saints Alive is a laid-back, fun gathering for senior adults that consists of a lunch, worship, teaching, and an activity. This year our teaching will be on “The Value of Camp,” and we will be hearing from a few people, young and old, about how camp has impacted their life and their faith. We will offer a variety of activities to choose from which will include fishing, bingo, and crafts! This event will start at 10:30 am and end at 1:30 PM.
We ask that you RSVP by Tuesday, May 1st by e-mailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling us at 706-754-4513. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We would love to see you there!
Open House is a chance for new, prospective campers and their families to come check out the camp, and for experienced campers and their families to come have a fun morning/afternoon enjoying all of their favorite camp activities! Everything at the camp will be open and available for use, so come swim, race up the climbing wall, paddle boat and canoe, and more! We will have staff to give tours to those who are new to the camp, and will be providing a light lunch and refreshments.

This year, our theme comes from Matthew 7:13-14, which says, 13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Our retreat is going to be focusing on choices. We all remember the Christian-classic "WWJD" bracelets. So, with this text from Matthew as our backdrop, we are going to discuss three questions over the three sessions of the retreat: What would Jesus Do? What could I do? What WILL I do?
We all know how popular the Star Wars movies have once again become, so we will be using themes from the movie (i.e. good vs. evil / light side vs. dark side / the "force, etc.) as a way to parallel these session topics into something visible and current to which the students can engage and relate.
All groups or individual students must be accompanied by an adult - the cost per adult is $10. Please submit your registration by Thursday, March 7th to ensure enough time for t-shirts to be made. We cannot guarantee shirts for late registrations.

You Got Served
After taking a year off, we are excited to bring back our “You Got Served” retreat this year! As always, we will have several projects that we will be working on to get ready for our summer camp program. Some of these projects will include painting facilities, cleaning, grounds work, light construction, and cutting up fallen trees. Please bring old clothes to work in as well as gloves and boots if you prefer. In addition to service projects, we will have four worship and teaching sessions that will focus on what it means to be a servant of Jesus. This will be a fun and great way to get students involved in and excited for the ministry of North Georgia Christian Camp. And don’t worry, we won’t work you 24/7, there will be time to hang out!
If you have any adults that would like to help out, please invite them to join you on Saturday. Specifically, if any adults are skilled with chainsaws and/or construction, their expertise would be greatly appreciated! We have had many trees fall this winter at the camp, and there is plenty of work to go around! We will get started at 9:30 AM, and lunch will be provided for anyone that would like to come on Saturday.
When: Friday, April 20th at 7:00 PM - Sunday, April 22nd at 10 AM
For: Middle and High School Students
Cost: $20 for students, $10 for adults
Please let us know how many are coming by Wednesday, April 18 if you are bringing a group, or have your students sign up online at www.christiancamp.net/registerorvolunteer by that date. If you have any questions, please let us know!
Vision Night is going to be a great night where you will be able to see the progress on some new camp projects, have dinner, and join us as we go over the plans for the year and discuss the vision for the future of NGCC in a fun, visual way. We will specifically be talking about the Family Life Center that we are in the process of purchasing from Harvest Christian Church and how we plan to use it this summer and in the future. This is going to be an exciting night that we hope you and as many as you can get from your church will attend!
When: Thursday, April 12th at 6:30 PM
Where: North Georgia Christian Camp Dining Hall
