Musical Theater Campers,
We are so excited for this years production of Aladdin Jr.! We will be auditioning for the roles of Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, and Jafar via video submission prior to your arrival at camp. All other roles will be auditioned the first evening of camp.
Audition videos for these 4 roles are due by March 31st.
By mid-April we will contact everyone who auditioned to let them know if we would like them to further audition by scheduling a google meet with them to read the script. All decisions for these 4 lead roles will be made by the end of April. The campers who are cast in these roles will have their books sent to them by the beginning of May with the expectations that they will have their lines and songs memorized prior to arriving at camp.
Video Submission Requirements:
See below the songs & various tracks for each character. Practice with the vocal track and then with the accompaniment track. When you are ready, video yourself singing the song "in character" with the accompaniment track.
In your video, state your name, age, and the role you are auditioning for and then sing the song with the accompaniment track.
Please do not worry about a high quality video, even a video taken with a phone is great.
Deadline to submit your audition is March 31.
